Hi
How to manage fibre channels and lambdas ? How do i Model DWDM (Dense wavelength-division multiplexing) How do i Model ROADM (Reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer) What tables are used and if there is no table can I create its own class and associate it to TNI
Really appreciate if TNI Experts can help in this.
Thanks

Channelized bandwidths, required for DWDM and legacy technology like SONET and SDH, will be introduced for TNI in Q1 2024 (Washington).

Hello Vijay,
I used this below for my reference when I landed. CHeck if any of these classes help you or you can go through custom classes but TNI is a new product and evolves, incase if this comes in the future, you should be ready to handle those scenarios.

Hi Kevin,I am leveraging CI class "Multiplexer" attributes Range, Bandwidth and channels for modeling DWDM.
Are these classes SONET and SDH introduced in Washington Release ?

Hi,
There are no specific classes being introduced called SONET or SDH. SONET and SDH can be modeled using channelized bandwidths which are now available with TNI. You can use any class you like for your physical and logical connections, but your logical connection will need to be created with a channelized logical connection model. Here's a short video on the topic. Hope this helps!
