Hi Kamini, I also received an email stating that my instance will be reclaimed on the 1st of May EOD because of the inactivity but I am using it almost every single day and today it is offline. The problem I am facing is because of this technical issue? I haven't backed up my work. Please help!

Thanks for the update. How long will it take for the issue to get resolved?
I make sure to login and work at least once in a week, and now it's been offline for close to a week (including weekends).

I'm hoping that my PDI won't get reclaimed since the issue is from technical front and not an issue from developer's point of time.

Still, PDI is showing in Offline Status and only the "Release Instance" option is showing. Earlier the  "Start Building" button and the "Refresh Instance" options were enabled but now all options are disabled except the "Release Instance" option.

Could you please look into it and resolve the issue to get my PDI online.

Hi all,

I feel like this is a reoccurring issue.

My PID has been down since the maintenance window on the 9th & 10th of August.

I was using it every day as I was working on a POC.
During the maintenance window I also received the inactivity warning mail that the instance will be reclaimed if not used within 10 days.

I hope this won't happen as I did use it every day.

I have a SN test today and the time is very important in this situation because we have a limit for this test.

Note: Best you can do now is to release the instance and request for new one if you don't have important data. You can get a new instance in less than 5 min.

As per the impact and if its not PDI (customer/partner instance), you can raise HI case for this issue. For PDI, ServiceNow no longer provides any support.

Instance being in offline mode and failing to backup/restore is an intermittent issue nowadays. No other option than to wait for some time. Unfortunately, Instance support is no longer provided by ServiceNow and no update on this issue is being provided by ServiceNow. We no longer have feedback button also.

 

For any urgent work, Best you can do now is to release the instance and request for new one if you don't have important data. You can get a new instance in less than 5 minutes.

 

According to the business impact and if it is a customer/partner instance, you can raise HI case for this issue. 

For PDI, ServiceNow no longer provides any support. You can try your luck by explaining the impact this outage has caused, drop an email to ServiceNow Developer Program "developer@servicenow.com"
