Flow Designer: Create a Flow - Unable to Find Service Studio in the Instance Provided for Course

I am currently working on the Flow Designer: Create a Flow course and the first step asks to access the All > Workflow Studio, however the instance that was provided to me does not have the Workflow Studio. I have attempted to look at other versions of the same course but seems to be the same issue with all versions. I would like to finish this course so I need help finding a way to enable Workflow Studio in my instance.

Hi @SravithaM ,

Are you working on PDI (If yes, which Version?). if you are working on any Training/Test PDI, let us know. Is your role - Admin or something else?

Thank you for the clarification, unfortunately I am unable to access Workflow Studio in the course training.

Yeah, that was strange. As I was able to view it when I spun up the training instance. As I mentioned, may it be it was one of those scenarios where it was not instantiated properly.

Have you completed the tasks in the Prepare the Simulator Instance section of this course, if no return to that section and complete those tasks before moving forward.

Flows are integrated into Workflow Studio starting from Washington DC release only. For previous releases it is available separately as Flow Designer. The course should have spun up Washington or the newest one based on the course release that you are enrolled in.

Very rarely there might be issues with instance initialization. So you could also try terminate and procuring a new training instance as there was not much progress that you would lose if you start fresh.

If my response proves useful, please indicate by selecting ‘Accept as Solution’ and ‘Helpful’. This action benefits both the community and me.

You need to be System Administrator. Check the role at the far end top right by clicking on the profile image. If not you can impersonate the System Administrator role for the same.

I believe you must impersonate the user that the task recommends you impersonate at the beginning.
