Issue in List Editor task- validation failing

Hello all,

I'm working on the Lists lab task that asks me to use the List Editor to change the State to "In Progress" for all Priority 1-Critical incidents. The instructions note that "10 rows will be updated," but my instance is displaying 11 Priority 1-Critical incidents. I updated all 11, but the task validation is still showing an error.

My filter is set correctly: State != Closed > Assignment group is not empty > Assigned to is not empty, and the list is sorted by Priority ascending.

Is this a known data discrepancy in the training instance? Should I only update 10 records and skip one, or is there a way to reset my instance data? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi @garinemanasa,

Are you able to share a screenshot that shows your filter condition and the list of results? I'm unable to replicate that issue myself as only 10 Priority 1 incidents are returned so it would be helpful to see what you can see.

Hi @KondetiN,

This is interesting as when I apply the filter condition in my lab instance, I only receive 14 results

Do you receive any errors when trying to validate the task? I've put together some notes which may help [Lab Validation Notes] Welcome to ServiceNow (Zurich): Lists and Filters however if you're still experiencing issues, please provide the details and I'll see if I can assist.

I was able to fix it.I selected top 10 priority incidents and it worked.Thank you
