PDI not waking

Hi

 

I have been trying to get in to my PDI for 2 days, each time I try it then shows the following msg:

I then click 'retry' then after about 5 minutes I am shown this msg:

I click 'report' and I'm not directed anywhere...........

 

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? 

 

So far I have tried following to wake the PDI without success:

 

  1. Signing out of my developer account, signing back in, then clicking 'wake instance' from the https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do home screen
  2. Signing out of my developer account, signing back in, then clicking on 'refresh instance' from the Profile drop down menu in https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do , then clicking 'wake instance'

Are there any other steps I can take to try to get in to my PDI? (Releasing the instance is not an option for me as I have 2 months worth of Employee Centre Pro dev work within it 

 

Does anyone know if ServiceNow are undertaking maintenance of some sort that is impacting on PDI's?

 

Your help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi @Farrah1977 

 

As you might know, there are no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence your are left with two options:

  1. Wait, it should come online again
  2. If you get tired of waiting, release your instance and request a fresh installation. Please note, all your development which haven't been backed up will be lost for good.

Same frustrating issue here. My PDI on Xanadu has also stopped waking on demand lately. It just spins endlessly when I try, and eventually fails. I get the option to "report" or "retry" but clicking either does nothing. It's been really frustrating, and it feels like something on the backend is broken.

Would be great to know if this is part of a wider issue or maintenance effort. Hoping for a fix soon as its getting harder every day to demo and prove the value of the platform.

Just wanted to post an update that this morning my PDI was able to be woken from its slumber and I was able to get back into it. All the data remained even though it was past the number of days where an instance will be released if I didn't wake it. Thank you to the ServiceNow team responsible for restoring access. 🙏

Hi all. This issue is happening to me now. I will wait a bit longer and see if it wakes up. I had just opened up a brand new instances and it started doing the exact same thing after the first hibernation.
