ServiceNow UIs
ServiceNow provides various UI frameworks to develop portals, workspaces and Mobile apps. These course provide you with overviews and skills to understand the tooling and capabilities of each.
Service Portal
This framework, based on AngularJS and Bootstrap provides the foundational UI for most requestor personas. It is the most common way non-IT employees encounter ServiceNow. This framework is the backbone for Employee Center, CSM Portal, and many other applications on the Now Platform

Next Experience
The Next Experience is the evolution of the ServiceNow UI to a modern, web component based toolkit. The Next Experience is the framework behind both configurable workspaces and the Classic Environment. Teams can extend Next Experience by using UI Builder (UIB) to create and manipulate pages and create custom components.
Many of ServiceNow products provide their fulfiller experiences as workspaces created on the Next Experience framework.

AngularJS is deprecated and no longer supported outside of ServiceNow, but we will still be creating and supporting portal widgets years into the future.

@rosemaryg for working with ServiceNow AngularJS is still relevant. And will be for awhile. There are 1000s of customers with portals deployed that they continue to invest in. Also learning the Next Experience UI Framework (UI Builder) will help if you are working on other parts of the platform.
