Approval Request email notification not triggering

Hi,

I created a email notification to trigger when approval is inserted in approval table for service offering. while previewing notification it is displaying fine but notification is not triggering and can't see in email. Approvers has their email id configured. Can anyone please help me out on this why email's are not triggering for source table service offering.

Hi @Alekhya12 

you are mixing two different approaches (events vs. record operations) and that cannot work. Instead of "Send when" = "Event is fired" please try with "Record inserted or updated"

Could you please check the BR that is triggering the event, is active or not?

Hi Alekhya,

try changing Weight to 0 under when to send tab,  it will trigger your notification.

Hello @Alekhya12 ,

 

there is already a OOTB notification on approval table. with same event. So you can use that notifcation as well.

if you wanted to create custom, need to add condtion to not trigger OOTB notification for service offerings.
