Hi team,

We are planning to create an automation solution in ServiceNow for processing some specific incoming emails with Excel attachments:

The specific requirements are as follows:

  1. Extract data from Excel (sheet 2, 1st row as header) attached to email using Email Inbound Action.
  2. Create a catalog item.
  3. Generate a Service Request (SR) upon email receipt.
  4. Attach the Excel file to the corresponding SR.

If similar automation has been implemented in any of the project, please provide your suggestions.
