Role for Editing Computer records in CMDB

Hi, 

Wondering if anyone has identified a role that enables users to edit computer records (asset and CI) without provisioning edit rights to all CIs in CMDB?

Hi Warren,

there are no write ACL's configured seperatley for the CMDB computer class apart from the CMDB CI Class.

However, you could create a new ACL for the cmdb_ci_computer table along with a new role to enable users to only edit CI's of the CMDB computer class.
