How to disable virtual agent sound alerts

Does anyone have information on how to disable the sounds in virtual agent? Everytime a message comes in there is a sound. Business would like to have the ability to disable it. There used to be info on this in the release notes but not anymore.

Hi Yasmin,

 

If its for single user then you can try - Settings > Notification > connect > Turn off audio

Hello,

You cannot deactivate the VA alert sound anymore. 😞

  • To turn off the audio notification for your instance, use the system parameter sysparm_disable_audio_notifications=true. For example: https://<your-instance name>.service-now.com/nav_to.do?sysparm_disable_audio_notifications=true
