Virtual Agent rendered HTML and images not showing in Microsoft Teams

Hi. We have configured Virtual Agent to work with MS Teams. I was aware that HTML would be rendered as an image (png file) in the Teams chat, however, this isn't working; instead all we see is a broken image icon. 

Also, the images for the survey are not working either, which could mean it's an issue with images rather than the rendered HTML.

Anyone had this before and know how to resolve it?

We also had an issue with broken image icons showing in Teams and the solution was different to others posted here.

The issue is with the db_image records and how they are created.

If the db_image is created automatically by virtual agent designer, by uploading an image into the image bot response, we see a broken image in teams.

If the image is created directly in the db_image table, by clicking the new button on the list view, the image displays correctly in teams.
