flow designer logs now showing action->log

Hi,

I have a flow in my PDI where I have added log messages to figure out if values are being found and passed correctly in my flow. When I look at the flow engine log entries ("sys_flow_log.list" in filter), it only shows the errors from 8 hours ago and none of logs from recent runs.

The attached image shows the log statement. The flow runs and tells me that there are two records that should be processed in the full each loop, but the statement after the logging action does not appear to be firing (hence the logging to find out why).

Also when I test the flow, the "flow execution" link basically shows nothing useful, i.e. "no records to display". Is there any logging limitation for PDIs that could be preventing the logging?

Hi @snow2p ,

I couldn't see any attachment, however you can check flow properties once

I have changed the highlighted one from Warning to Info and could see all three types of logs

I looked at that page before, but completely missed the small font that explained the log level or higher. Changing that level to info did the trick. Marking as accepted.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Regarding:

"Is there any logging limitation for PDIs that could be preventing the logging?"

No, there is not. While I don't see any attachment that you mentioned, it will be just your instance settings. The log level of Flow Designer which you have to set. Not sure if its related to your question, since details are missing, though do make sure you also regularly update Workflow Studio store plugin.

Kind regards,
