How to use the indoor wayfinding function of Indoor Mapping

Hey All,

I am currently doing research on workplace service delivery and more precisely on indoor mapping. I would like to know how to use the indoor wayfinding function. Is it possible to choose a precise place on the map of my campus and receive step by step the way to get there ?

Hi @Arnold Kamdem ,

You will need to configure below to achieve wayfinding :

1.  Install Indoor Mapping.

2. Create a campus with buildings and floors

3. Import the CAD files

4. Import the raster files

Hi Arnold,

You can also define the indoor positioning using the studio. In here, you can set the route employees can take and if they are any obstacles (e.g stairs, single direction route). And if needed connect the different floors using connectors.

The system shall find the the closed point on the route and calculate the navigation to the desired location.

Step by step directions are not available yet. At the moment, the wayfinding feature is available in the location directory of WSD.
