Reservations by Shift, start and end times do not match Shift times

Hi Everyone, 

 

I'm having an issue with our shifts after the last update, our Start/end times do not match the Start/end times of the shifts we created. They are off by about 10mins (Note in the screen shot attached, the difference is more noticeable, the location in questions is located in the EST timezone, while I'm in NST (1.5hrs difference). 

 

Accounting for the additional 1.5 hrs, the start time for our "morning shift" is set to be from 08:00 - 12:00 and the system correctly identifies this, but when the user books, The Start time is 07:50 - 11:50.

 

The afternoon shift is from 12:15 - 16:00, but when the user books the space, the booking start is 12:00, and the end is correct at 16:00. 

 

Originally I assumes this could by a configuration issue, so I reverted our custom code by to OOTB, but the error persists. 

Next I thought it may be a pre/post cleaning activity. Found and turned it off, but I still have the same error. 

 

I'm back to thinking it's a custom issue with in the Workplace Core tool. But I'm lost on next steps. Wondering if anyone else has seen a similar issue and can point me in the correct direction.

Hmmm, please try to see:

  • system timezone,
  • location timezone,
  • user timezone

For debugging purposes try it with location that has equal TZ as the location and/or as the logged in user..

I should have clarified, I've received the reported error from a user in the same time zone as the location. But to be sure I completed the check as you suggested.

 

1) System timezone is set to EST

2) Building is located and set to EST

3) Test with user in the same timezone as the building, also same results.
