Look up an asset or claim by its serial number

Look up the serial number of the asset or claim details in the dealer portal. View the item for recall and sales promotion claims.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_dealer_mgmt.dealer_service_advisor

Procedure

1. Navigate to Dealer Portal > Lookup by serial number.
2. Enter the serial number.
3. Select Search.
   The page displays the claim details of that serial number. It includes Submitted claims, Active recalls, and Details.
4. View the relevant details.
   • To view the claims submitted for that product or asset, select Submitted claims.
   • To view a recall performed on the product or asset, select Active recalls.
   • To view the install base form view, select Details.
