Publishing Center in Enterprise Architecture Workspace

Use the Publishing Center to publish Enterprise Architecture content such as Technology Reference Model (TRM) catalogs to the Knowledge Base, monitor publishing workflows, and maintain publishing history with full governance and visibility.

The Publishing Center in Enterprise Architecture Workspace supports publishing Enterprise Architecture content that is designed to be consumed beyond the Enterprise Architecture Workspace.

Currently, the Publishing Center enables you to:

• Publish Technology Reference Model (TRM) catalogs to the ServiceNow Knowledge Base
• Configure publishing rules for:
  • TRM Products
  • TRM Lifecycle phases
  • Displayed attributes

This helps you to generate and manage knowledge base representations of approved technology standards.

• Published TRM catalog experience
  When you publish a Technology Reference Model (TRM) catalog from the Publishing Center, the system generates a Knowledge Base catalog that presents approved technology standards in a consumable, read‑only format.
• Create a new configuration to publish TRM data
  Define configuration for a Technology Reference Model (TRM) catalog that can be published to the knowledge base article.
• Edit a published TRM catalog configuration
  Edit a published TRM catalog configuration to update catalog name, article publishing rules for software and hardware records, or manage portal and knowledge base mappings.
• Associate a portal with a knowledge base
  Create or update a portal mapping for your published catalog, set the order for the knowledge base. And make the record active or inactive.
• Automatic synchronization of published TRM catalogs
  After you publish a TRM catalog, most updates to TRM data are synchronized automatically with the published knowledge base content.
