Does glide.audit.track_impersonation work in Zurich release or only from Australia release?

Hi ,

I am testing impersonation audit tracking using the system property "glide.audit.track_impersonation = true."

My instance is currently on the Zurich release. I manually created this property and set it to true, but audit records in sys_audit still show the impersonated user instead of the actual admin user who performed the action.

I noticed that ServiceNow documentation references this feature under the Australia release.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Is glide.audit.track_impersonation supported only from the Australia release onward?
  2. Will manually creating this property in Zurich or older releases have any effect?
  3. Is upgrading to Australia required to capture the real impersonator in sys_audit.user?

Any official confirmation or documentation references would be appreciated.

1. "glide.audit.track_impersonation" as system property in ServiceNow Austrailia Patch 1 PDI doesn't exists.

Build name: Australia
Build date: 03-31-2026_1137
Build tag: glide-australia-02-11-2026__patch1-03-23-2026
