Manage developer for Global Application

Hello ServiceNow Community,

we have our own global application for the chatbot, to which individual developers (without the admin role) should be allowed. With scoped applications, there is the option to manage developers in the detail view of the application. This function is not available for global applications.

How can I still authorize individual developers for this application so that they can make changes within the application (e.g. create topics, etc.)?

Unfortunately I didn't find anything about this.

Greetings
Markus

Hello @Markus9

Greetings!

The delegated development is only available for scoped apps. It is not available for global scope.

You may want to consider some of the OOB roles to restrict access to specific development activities

Hello,

There are only a few options when developing in the Global Scope. Some Special Admin Roles can help out, in addition to giving the admin role per function areas (if they exist). Outside of that, you would have to create custom roles and modify ACLs (When possible).
