Hi everyone,
We’ve recently installed Agent Client Collector (ACC) on a couple of test Windows servers and configured a test MID Server specifically for ACC. These Windows servers were previously being discovered using JEA with ServiceNow Discovery, and that’s still the case even after ACC installation.
Here’s what we’re seeing:
- ACC is installed and running on the test servers.
- The MID Server is configured for ACC and appears healthy.
- When I manually change the Discovery Source on the CI to "ACC-Visibility" and run discovery, it reverts back to "ServiceNow" after the scan completes.
- It seems like ACC is not taking over the discovery process as expected.
Question:
What am I missing in the configuration or setup that would allow ACC to take over discovery and properly set the Discovery Source to "ACC-Visibility"?
Are there additional steps needed to prioritize ACC ? I have also set Reconciliation rules to use ACC as priority 1 in the data manager.
Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Check IRE Insert Failed Example 2. You might need to add sys_choice for ACC-Visibility

HI Kilo,
I did check the sys_choice and they are set correctly. Inactive=false. I also have created a reconciliation rule to use acc first priority and ServiceNow 2nd but, I wonder about the discovery schedule. Servicenow discovery is set up for 4:00am daily and ACC discovery is set up for 11:00am daily. I set that up using cron expression. Should I have that set up a different way? Should they be set to run at the same time? However, even at 11:00am, the windows servers still do not show they updated with ACC, linux servers do.
Thank you

Few things,
Do you want to keep using JEA afterwards, if not then disable the credentials. Second if you want to see if acc is not working then jea should be used then created reconciliation rule. Give precedence to ACC and second to JEA.
