APM - Business Application tracking ADA compliance

I am new to asking these types of questions in the community. However, we have been given the task of updating our APM-Business Application forms to configure the CMDB to hold critical information on tracking compliance with ADA rules and regulations (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)). My leadership wants to identify applications and vendors that meet the ADA compliance guidelines, or we have applications that may require an upgrade or retirement. Perhaps this is looking too high into a process, and maybe it should be tracked at the vendor level to determine if they support the American Disability Act.
My team is trying to adhere to the CSDM and has questions related to it. Has this already been discussed, such as tracking the changes or implementing a best practice that others are following?
