Adding "My Approvals" to HomePage

A user is trying to add "My Approvals" to the personal HomePage.   If you go to the HomePage and click "Add Content", and the select "Content Blocks", it list the "My Approvals" option.   However, if they select it and place it on the HomePage, it shows ALL States, instead of just the "Requested" state like the "My Approvals" list shows.

How can we change this so that it behaves the same and uses the same filters as the "My Approvals" list?

They can select Global homepage from drop-down. or edit after selection by removing other not-required item. It will create new customize homepage for them.
