Hi,
We have created a dropdown field with no none options. It now turns out that for reporting and auditing purposes, users need to be able to filter where the field has not been populated. The drop down simply has a Yes and No options.
Unfortunately, when reporting when adding a filter for drop down value is Not Yes and Not No, it doesn't produce the expected results.
How easy is it to retrospectively change the field so that it has a None option? I tried to amend the dictionary, but it doesn't apply the update.
Thanks.

@Chaz_ , if you go to dictionary - under choice specification you will have an option to Include None or without None
Select NONE and add Default Value to show when for is Loaded

It should work when you change it on the dictionary, just not for existing records, since they have already been filled (probably most of the time by the default). What does your system do when you change it to also include the 'none' option?

Hi @Chaz_ ,
You can select the Include None option for that select box.
It will reflect in reporting filter condition but there may be not a single record with none value at moment.
You can create a new record with None, and check the report again
