Hello, good morning.
I have a question that I thought was easy and I can't find the solution.
I need a catalog item to not appear available for users in the catalog but to be active because we will create requests with another method.
Is it possible to make an item invisible in the catalog? even admin users.
I'm trying with Available For and Not Available For and it doesn't give me any results.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi @Jose MMR ,
Its very much possible, you just need to do below configuration in item.
1. Remove user criteria from Available For and Not Available For.
2. Remove Categories and Catalog.
I have tested it, after removing the above mentioned details it not appearing in the portal event for admin.

Hi @Jose MMR
Then what is the purpose of making it or hiding it even for admins? Do u want to use it for some integration only? Don't make it complicated, let's show the item to the admin only and educate them on how and when this will be used.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

so for whom it has to be visible?
If you don't want it to be seen then make it inactive

you can use user criteria and use advanced script and use this script
answer = false;
Then add that in Available for Related list
