Navigate to the notification you have created and uncheck Omit Watermark checkbox in advanced view.

Please find the my email notification condition on Sys approval table what will be impact if use Omit Watermark checkbox  while approving the request from the email.

Watermarks are used by ServiceNow instance to match incoming email to existing records. In you case, the response to an approval email will not be entertained as ServiceNow instance will not be able to identify which approval record to update.
