How to remove an email address listed in Cc from an compose email when in a task and clicking on the 3 dots and selecting email?

I meant tasks, sorry. Wherever you were clicking "email client" and trying to send an email. You said the Cc was already populated, right? That's what this post is about and your initial screenshot.

So now go to Email Client Template and create one for tasks (or the literal table like incident, sc_task, etc.)

And don't put anything for the Cc field. Save it.

Then go back to where you saw the Cc being populated and try again, is it still populated? If not, then you're good.

Where do I put in to have it pull the short description of the task when I compose email like the incident?

Right now mine is blank

This is something else...

Anyways, put this in the subject field, in your template:

${number} - ${short_description}

Just to add, you can also check if there is an email template applied to the table by Navigating to Email Client > Email Client Templates.
