Hi @Community Alums,
Since others have already shared links for Flow Designer, you can check those for setup details.
If you're considering a plugin-based approach for the integration, you may want to consider the below points:
- Will it be able to provide real-time updates, or could there be delays that affect critical data?
- Will comments, attachments, links, inline images, and rich text formatting be preserved? For example, if a ServiceNow incident includes an inline image—like an error screenshot that’s critical for troubleshooting—will it appear the same way in ADO?
- If something goes wrong, how easy will it be to troubleshoot and fix the issues?
- Can it handle multiple ServiceNow/ADO instances and growing project demands, or will it slow down as your team expands?
- Does it support bi-directional sync, or is it limited to one-way updates?
Here, if you are looking for a GUI-based synchronization tool, where without much technical knowledge of how to script integration, you can still configure it with intuitive UI, then you can consider OpsHub’s [Service and Microsoft partner] free edition. It can sync bidirectionally comments, attachments/Inline images, links. You can simply select fields which need to be synced between ADO and ServiceNow. You can also look at Snow ADO sync for more information.
Hope this helps!
