Hello everyone, today I deployed a ServiceNow instance for developers and the certificate is expired. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi @chris_roses

It’s a known issue for today. You can either wait or release the PDI and take a new one.

Hi @lcmsn

No, once it’s released, you can’t get it back. You’ll only be able to request a new instance.

You might get a new instance tomorrow when the Zurich version is released.

It happened with mine that had a whole bunch of work and I couldn't access it. I released it and now am waiting on an instance upgrade. Now I have to start over which is very infuriating.

Can you please provide the steps where we need to upload the new certificate?

It’s a known issue today. You can either wait or release the PDI and request a new one.

The reason could be planned or unplanned maintenance on the ServiceNow side, which is usually not notified to PDI users.
So, it’s better to wait for a few hours before deciding to release the instance.

Hi @chris_roses

It is happening as ServiceNow SSL certificate is expired so it is navigating you to http:// rather than https://. Many other people are affected by this and hope it will be fixed soon by ServiceNow.

Work Around: - Open developer.servicenow.com in incognito mode and sign in and launch PDI. It will display error, but it will also display Advanced option towards footer. Click on it and on next screen click on "Procced <PDI URL> unsafe" link and you will be able to access your PDI.
