Hi everyone,
I have a Catalog item that, when submitted, has some values wiped when opened in the RITM record. However, when I checked the portal, I could see that all options were available. Would anyone know what could be the reason for some of the variables to be empty in the RITM? TIA - Regina
Note: I do not have a UI Policy or Catalog client scripts that set the variable to empty:

Is there a UI policy set up on these fields? If yes, look for

The issue is due to a UI Policy indeed but not the Clear option but the visibility of fields. Thanks for answering my question 🙂

There could be many reasons. Have you customized the OOB SC Catalog Item widget? Or maybe you have 'Reverse if False' checked on a UI Policy that is causing unintended actions.

As @Ethan Davies said, it can be due to many reasons, also check the ACL also check for other users and in other browsers as well.
UI policy can be the prime reason.
