Employee center header change

I want to add a custom header menu instead of OOB. Please find the below format.

Self-Service View: Links to native ServiceNow Home (dashboards, homepage, etc)
My Active Requests: Links to all submitted items (RITM, INC, HR, FCR, RIM, CC, etc)
Knowledge: Links to Knowledge Portal
cart, Tours, and favorites.

Out-of-the-box you can only configure 1 menu item in the top menu (fixed position, it's menu item "More", though you can rename it, it can be a menu item though you can also add more menu items to it so it becomes a dropdown).

- All > Service Portal > Portals

- Select your portal

- Related List "Menu Items"

- Notice there's an out-of-the-box "More" Menu item

In the submenu you can configure way more menu items and in the order your like. For that you can simply add new Menu items.

Be aware: not all changes in the Employee Center header (especially Taxonomy) are visible instantly due to cashing!

Hi there,

So what is your question actually? Did you try something and it's not working? Or is it that you don't know where to start? Or do you want to know if/what the risks are? Or is it this is my requirement please solve it for me?

This is my requirement, I checked in the "Header Menu" widget but I couldn't find it where to add and where to modify, help me on this, please

You can only configure and add items to the mega nav menu, which is under the 'Main menu' record on your portal config page. To change the header above would be a customisation and you would need to consider if it's worth the maintenance during upgrades/patches. The widget that you would need to clone and change is 'Employee Center Header', but if you do clone this, you need to reference it under the theme record for the portal.
