How to Embed EC Pro Notification Bell into Global Header in ServiceNow?

Hi ServiceNow Community,

We are currently using the Global Header in our instance and want to embed the EC Pro Notification Bell into it, similar to how it appears in the Employee Center.

  • What is the recommended approach to embed the EC Pro Notification Bell component into the global header?

  • Are there any specific configurations, UI scripts, or widget customizations needed to enable this?

  • Any example code snippets or best practices would be appreciated!

@kurlie_08 It is managed through a seperate plugin, which will activate into your Employee Center header by default. 

A new menu called Portal notifications will be available, where you can configure which portal will receive the notifications (a number come out of the box)

There is no need for scripting or any additional development on your part, just install the plugin and configure
