How to set the Record producer page in the portal to show an existing kb article and edit it?

Hello, devs!

Is it possible to make use of the Record Producer page in the portal to view and edit an existing knowledge article on that page?

The OOB of the "Edit Article" action redirects to the actual form which is not good to look at knowing that the user is using the portal side.

I appreciate any help that you will provide for this.

@tidert_24 There is a reason why the 'Edit Article'  action redirect to the actual form on the native view, there are a lot of functionalities related to knowledge article management which are not available on the portal side. 

There are no OOTB way using which you can allow editing of a KB article through a record producer.

Due to role permissions and the publish flow of a knowledge article, I think it is not possible to make this update directly in the article. Maybe you could try adding the necessary fields to the record producer and assign a process flow to handle the article flow, such as approvals and state changes.
