Not able to insert the record in to core_company through catalog

Hi All, 

Having a requirement that we created a catalog to insert a record into core_company table.

on the catalog we are having only one field - Name

While inserting the record need to check whether there is a same record in the table with the same name. 

Through flow designer trying to do the same restriction. but not working. 

Any suggestion.

Is your flow designer flow running as system, or as the user who requested it?

If its the latter, please make sure you provide the necessary roles to the user during Flow runtime.

it's the system user.

we can able to insert the record in table, but need to put the restriction whether on the same name there is record in the table. 

Need suggestions.

What's your business requirement to insert record into core_company via catalog?

Usually that's core system table.
