Out of the box widgets in Employee Center portal

Hi,

 

We are planning to implement OOB employee Center portal, however we are facing below issues. Could anyone please help me to resolve this issues.

 

- I am trying to use announcement widget in Employee Center portal, however notifications are not getting displayed.

- Whenever user submits RITM, Where can I configure pending approval requests ? I am not able to get them in MY task.

Did you add the "Announcements" or "Announcements (CD)" widget?  Announcements use the Service Portal > Announcements records to display.  They should appear automatically, as long as your announcement record is:

  • Active
  • Current date is after the "From" date, if one is populated
  • Current date is before the "To" date, if one is populated
  • "Type" is widget, if expecting to see in a widget
  • "Roles" is empty, if expecting anyone to see it
  • The Portals tab is empty or has the correct Employee Center portal

Approvals should appear in My Tasks.  These are configured in Employee Center > To-dos Configuration, if you want to confirm the settings on the sysapproval_approver table.

Yes I could able to get announcement displayed however only after making 'ISC:Invalid Run As User' entries inactive. Do you know why this works this way ?
