Hi All,
I wanted to confirm that it is not possible to have the same contact associated with multiple vendors. Based on my understanding and testing of the system, it appears that only a 1-to-1 relationship is allowed.
I see that when looking at a vendor contact, updating the vendor field will replace the existing vendor that the contact is linked to. There isn't an option to select multiple.
Additionally, when trying to add an existing vendor contact to a second vendor , as the system automatically chooses the email address as the username, it provides the following error:
1) java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Duplicate entry 'person@company.com' for key 'sys_user_u'
2) Invalid Insert
For example, I wouldn't be able to add jon.snow@targaryen.com (user/contact) to both Winterfell (company1) and KingsLanding (company2).
If anyone can confirm this, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Albert Chen

That is correct. One to one only.
