Planned start date
Planned end date
Due date
These above fields on the issue record are not automatically updating the calculation.
Users had to do the calculation manually.
Checked business rules.
Within the 'dates' tab on the issues new record form, the 'due date' field does not inform the 'Duration(duration)' and 'Planned end date' fields. This has to be manually calculated.
Output should be, on the form when a due date is entered, it automatically updates the 'Duration(duration)' and 'Planned end date' fields.

what do you mean by manually user had to do?
If there is some BR which is configured to run and calculate the difference and set the duration then only it will work
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

is that an OOB BR?
If yes then are you sure that BR condition is getting satisfied so that it runs and performs the calculation
Is that a custom BR and if yes then check why it's not working?
share the BR configuration screenshot and the script used inside it
