GRC license

Angelo8

Hi all,

I see that some products have licenses based on the number of GRC users (e.g. "1,000 GRC Users Included"). I wonder what do we intend for GRC users.

I understand the number of GRC users is the number of users having at at least one GRC role (e.g. sn_grc.reader, sn_risk.manager, sn_audit.developer). Is it correct?

Thank you!

Angelo

Hi Angelo,

If these users are in your sys_user table, then they would be counted.

Thanks,

Sungwoo

Hi Sungwoo,
Thank you, it is clear. Just an additional point, if you may: if I have employees in my company (including contractors, part-time...) but also clients in different companies that may use the self service (only) and appear as callers or service subscribers, would these clients be counted in the total?

Thank you

Angelo

It is helpful answer. But I really dont understand why all employee have to have a license. Why do every employee need and license, what is the logic behind it? Just so I can explain the customer

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

The all-employee licensing model is available to customers who want to run GRC workflows that involve all employees. For example, a customer might want to have all employee attest to policies a few times a year.

Alternatively, we offer an operator licensing model, whereby a customer can purchase licenses for a specific number of their employees. For example, a customer can purchase 500 operator licenses out of their total employee base of 5,000. In this model, all users of GRC must be licensed as an operator.

Best,

Sungwoo
