Is there a way to track changes to documents published in the Knowledge library

I want to update some of the Policies that are published in the Knowledge library. However in order to be easier for the owner/approver, I want to be able to highlight the differences between the old (published version) and the new one that is up for approval.

Does such an option exists in Service Now?

I have found a workaround which consist of manually highlighting the changes and the approver to manually remove the highlighting. However this will lead to additional manual work and the idea behind using ServiceNow is to have more automation/

There is an integration with Word / O365 coming with San Diego based on latest published Roadmap which should allow using Track Change there.

As of today you can use ACtivities to show Before / After. But Deletions and Reformatting changes are harder to show than Insertions.

Any word on this integration that is supposed to be available in San Diego? I have configured the O365 integration for knowledge management, but this is pretty much useless for policy revisions. I need red lining on policies, not knowledge articles 😞

Hey,

This was demoed last week during the GRC Roadmap and was confirmed to be available for San Diego GA release mid-March 🙂

Do you have any material/document that shows this? I can not find anything online and would really like to position this solution.
