Is there a way to track changes to documents published in the Knowledge library

I want to update some of the Policies that are published in the Knowledge library. However in order to be easier for the owner/approver, I want to be able to highlight the differences between the old (published version) and the new one that is up for approval.

Does such an option exists in Service Now?

I have found a workaround which consist of manually highlighting the changes and the approver to manually remove the highlighting. However this will lead to additional manual work and the idea behind using ServiceNow is to have more automation/

You need to talk with your SN representative wrt access to pre-GA documentation. I'm not a SN employee just a Partner.

I'm still seeking information on the word integration specifically track changes and comments. The only thing I've found so far is configuring the Microsoft word ad-in for knowledge management but I've not seen anything outside of the docs site which doesn't show nor explain features, especially related to something like "track changes"

In addition to the above mention response, there are two more option to track the changes made to the Policies in GRC module that are published as KB.

Also, I remember using these features in the regular Knowledge module.

Add the 'related lists' called Policy Versions and Audit History. If you want to see the older versions in entirety and not as track changes, you can see the Versions tab.

However the Audit history is what can specifically help to track the smaller changes made to a policy. It gives the old value vs new value.

The formatting is not the best. But it can be a makeshift point of reference until the O365 integration is enabled.

Thank you both for your replies.
It looks like the current version is not providing the functionality that I am looking for and I will have to wait for the San Diego release. Hopefully in that instance it will be possible for the approver to view the changes made to the document when deciding should it be approved/rejected.

Did you end up with a viable solution to this? I still can't find any kind of detailed information or demos related to the Office 365 integration specifically for word.
