understand the Regulatory Change Management feature in ServiceNow

Hi,

We are looking to activate this and operationalize this for Policy Management and other needs within ServiceNow.

How to enable this in ServiceNow

  1. such as - creating Campaign, Analysis of Updates, Approval workflow and Control updates, etc.
  2.  Need help how to go about implementing the Regulatory Change Management (RCM)

Hi Ravi,

The ServiceNow® Regulatory Change Management application enables you to check upcoming regulatory changes, assess their impact, and implement risk and compliance-related changes. The application ensures overall regulatory compliance.

If you are looking to install in PDI, then unfortunately you cannot as it requires your company instance/ Hi credentials to get a Store application.

Download the GRC: Regulatory Change Management application from the ServiceNow Store and run it in your ServiceNow instance.

 

Otherwise the regular procedure mentioned below:

  1. Download the GRC: Regulatory Change Management application from the ServiceNow Store.
    Follow the instructions for Download a GRC application from the ServiceNow Store for the first time. Downloading the Regulatory Change Management application automatically installs the following required applications:
    • GRC: Policy and Compliance Management
    • GRCAdvanced Risk
  2. In your instance, navigate to System Applications > All Available Applications > All.
  3. Locate GRC: Regulatory Change Management.
  4. In the list, select an appropriate release.
  5. Click Install.
    A new Application installation window is displayed.
  6. Confirm the details of the application and click Install.

Hello,

 

I am also looking for help in implementing regulatory change management for a customer. My use case is to create alerts manually , and there are few request for custom field creations. What is your suggestion on this part? Is it acceptable ? @Ravi63  @Community Alums
