Hello All
We have 2 fields, Which have UI Policy to make them mandatory, but when we see the form one field have red Asterisk and other field in gray Asterisk, but there is no any data in that multiline text, but when we are submitting the form, it is showing as that field is mandatory.
Kindly let me know any suggestion. (Screenshot attached)
Thanks

It doesn't have any value in the field or any default value also.

Is that within an UI page? or normal form?
Can you share steps to reproduce so that I can check at my side?
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hello @DNC
- It could be a cache issue or custom styles overwriting the OOTB behavior.
- Right-click the field and select Configure Style to check if any custom CSS is applied.
- Modify or remove any custom styles if present and necessary.
- Clear the cache by navigating to /cache.do.
Hope this helps!

Hello @DNC
Could you provide more details about where you're seeing this issue? Is it happening in the form or on the portal?
There is a high chance that the OOTB CSS might have been manipulated or overwritten. It would be helpful to inspect the field or element to see if custom styles are affecting the default behavior.
Hope this helps!
