Consumable Audit options?

Hello everyone,

We have the need to be able to audit consumables, has anyone come up with a solution for this? Similar to an asset audit perhaps but by model number and entering the quantity? I am sure other companies have had the need for this am curious if anyone has come up with a solution?

OOTB can't find anything in the docs , for sure we will be able to see in further release. I will raise an idea with ServiceNow.

I am having the guys count the Items in each stockroom and add them to a spreadsheet using the sys_id, I then run a script to update the counts if they are off. We really need an OOTB functionailty though for consumable audits to better track. Hopefully ServiceNow will implement something in the near future, they could just use model_number and qty for the fields to audit. I know the current functionality has several functions though and is targeted to assets so hopefully they can modify the audit script to include consumables!

In my case @jonsr20 , clients are more focused on assets, not consumables so didn't gave much thought on it however I know OOTB is not there so need to do workaround from our end . I will raise an idea. Hope you guys do from your end too.
