I am trying to create custom catalog items for Hardware Asset Management. However, when I copy an OOTB catalog item such as Hardware Asset Refresh, it does not follow the standard HAM process flow.
For the OOTB catalog item, the catalog task is created under the Request (REQ) and includes the Source Request button. In contrast, the copied catalog item follows the standard Service Catalog workflow, where catalog tasks are created under the Requested Item (RITM) instead.
I have also observed that simply using the same OOTB Flow Designer flow is not sufficient to replicate the HAM behavior.
Could anyone of you please advise on the additional configurations or components required to ensure a custom catalog item follows the same HAM process flow as the OOTB Hardware Asset Refresh catalog item?
