De-Duplication Manual Task for Hardware Table

We have a hardware table where we have made 'Serial Number' as unique so that no 2 records have same serial number.

But for old records we have multiple Hardware records which have same Serial Number. Is there any way so that users can select the Hardware records with same serial numbers and then merge them OR create a custom de-duplication task like we have for CMDB classes.

There is no merge or de-duplication functionality for asset like there is for CMDB. You can use the CMDB functioanlity to merge, but of course that is focused on the CI side and doesnt call out the assets differences. This will likely be more of a one time effort to clean up the assets. Going forward it should no longer be an issue.
