Hardware Asset Ageing Dashboard

Hi,

I am trying to create asset ageing report through Platform Analytics Dashboard. Please can someone help me or guide on how can i create the same. I want to create the same based on Purchase Date or Warranty Expiration date. I want it to be bucket as >1 Year, 1-3 Years and greater than 3 Years.

Good day, 

I am not able to create the bucket as i mentioned. Not sure on how can show in Dashboard. If Possible you can help me with entire process as per your experience and knowledge and i can try doing it.

Hi there,

Great Question! Yes,You can easily create this through a normal report Just open Reports → Create New, If you can't find report table just type sys_report.list in navbar,

select your table (for example, I’m using the Incident table here, you can select your table).

then Select Bar Chart or Pie Chart

Then choose the date field you want to use like I’m using Opened Date from the Incident table, but in your case, you can select Purchase Date or Warranty Expiration Date.

After that, group the data based on that date field, If you want exact buckets like <1 year, 1–3 years, >3 years, You can use business rule to generate the bucket first.

That’s it, just follow the same steps with your own table and field names.
