Hardware Asset Workspace - Add links and hide not used dashboards

How can we configure the default Hardware Asset Workspace at minimum?

We need to hide: 

• Not used dashboards at the home button
• The section on procurement & contract management

We would like to add: 

• Links to our current Asset life cycle section in ITSM until we have moved them to Hardware Asset Workspace.   

Our colleagues from ITSM said - you must create a complete new landing page......

There is not one answer to your question. Procurement and Contract Mgmt. you might hide based on the OTB roles; you might need to remove them or not assign them. Procurement, for instance, is not visible if you don't have the plugin installed, hence you can hide it based on the roles.

For the dashboards or modifications to the workspace, it depends on how much you want to change. Modifications to the ootb workspaces are not recommended and should be kept as small as possible, but you can change to the corresponding scope and implement changes. If you want to modify to a certain extent, your colleagues might be right, and creating a new workspace might be the option, but you can create a copy of the original one.
