Will EOL/EOS in Hardware Model affect Status?

For example, will EOL/EOS automatically change to Status after expiration?

But I would like to know in more detail, will the default EOS/EOL affect the status without setting any settings? Does the existing system have this feature?

I have read the article, but it is about SAM. I think HAM is needed on my end
