Which role is required to modify the model categories of hardware assests ?

Hi @Devika  

You can update the Model Categories directly from the Model record associated with the asset.

To do this:

1. Open the asset record (in your case, from the alm_hardware table).
2. Click on the linked Model field to open the corresponding Model record.
3. In the Model record, you can edit the Model Categories. Once updated, these changes will automatically reflect in the asset record.

In order to modify the model categories of hardware assets, you require "model_manager" role.
