Scenario:
Stockroom Auditing - When the Auditor begins to scan the assets located in the Stockroom...
I understand logically how it should work ????
Question:
1. From the Mobile App - Should they see the existing assets on the Scan screen, on the mobile App before they start?
2. From the Mobile App - Should they be able to remove "Bad" scan assets during the audit, before submitting. Problem is creating New assets on Bad Scans
3. From the Mobile App - can the app be configured to scan Asset Tag or Serial Number or Both?

@NinjaGriller - Before we proceed to solve this challenge. Can you specify the below?
- How is the auditor scanning the asset tags?
- How do you conduct audit? Using ServiceNow tools?
- If you use ServiceNow tools then, you might want to recheck if you have all the asset tags updated on ServiceNow.

Hi @NinjaGriller ,
1. From the Mobile App - Should they see the existing assets on the Scan screen, on the mobile App before they start? (Yes they have access to existing assets on the cmdb once scanned the found asset would be prompted)
2. From the Mobile App - Should they be able to remove "Bad" scan assets during the audit, before submitting. Problem is creating New assets on Bad Scans (not clear on what do you mean by bad scan asset)
3. From the Mobile App - can the app be configured to scan Asset Tag or Serial Number or Both? (Configuration can be done for both but recommended is to use Asset Tag value)

We Are using the Mobile Agent - Asset Auditing in ServiceNow -
If we scan the incorrect bar code OR the Bar code is corrupt - Can cannot delete the scan BEFORE submitting the audit.
If the asset is MISSING the Asset TAG we need the ability to scan the Serial Number to verify if existing or new asset.
Bottom Line - Who is having success with the Mobile Agent - Asset Auditing? I would love to chat with you.
