Employee Center Implementation

I need a solid implementation plan for implementing Employee Center portal with departments such as HR, IT and Facilities. 

 

Imagine if a customer is having service portal varied for IT and HR separately and how better to incorporate in having these services merged into Employee Center. How easy is it? Any help on the timelines and involved parties?

Every org is different so I don't think anyone in the community would be able to put a solid implementation plan together for you.
