I couldn't configure e-signature properly. The issue is that in an HR task, when I mark a signature and even when I click "Save and Continue", the PDF is attached to the HR task. However, the signature is stored in the related list below, not within the actual PDF. I want the signature to appear inside the PDF attached to the HR task, not separately in the e-signature related list.

Sorry, this doesn't help. The "PDF" and "signature" are attached separately, not embedded. Kindly refer to the description above.

Hi @Ishaq-Brian You have to use the HR Task Type of "Sign Document" to get the functionality you are looking for (when using HR Document Templates). I recommend using the new Document Templates that we also refer to as "Advanced forms". These newer Doc Templates were introduced with their own scoped plugin in Rome. These documents allow you to fill in fields of the document and review, to name a few functions. You create Fill and Review tasks for these documents and you can append a signature within the document like it is done with HR Document Templates. Here is a video of the Document Templates to get you started. This is 100% configurable.
Not to confuse you, but HR Document Templates & Document Templates are 2 different features with Document Templates being the newer, more robust feature and the path I would recommend.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as an accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
